What they do:
Sibling Gin was founded three years ago by four brothers and sisters, aged between 17 and 24, using the experience of craft drinks learnt at their parents’ microbrewery.
As one of a handful of distilleries fermenting their base alcohol from scratch, they are currently the world’s youngest gin distillers.
Felix, Clarice, Cicely, and Digby Elliott-Berry handle every part of the process themselves, making small batches of a cane sugar alcohol base that is fermented, distilled and filtered over a 16-day process.
The spirit is then distilled and infused with 10 hand-prepared botanicals (the flavourings that give each gin its individual character), including Madagascan vanilla, blueberries, orange and lemon zest.
Keen to keep the business environmentally friendly, Sibling recycle everything possible, and give waste products to local farmers for livestock feed. They’re currently partnered with a government initiative aimed at making production greener, and are developing a new premises that will be carbon-neutral.

Our judging panel loved the exotic flavour of the gin, commending the siblings on their from-scratch processes, and ultimately admired the young team’s evident passion for their work.
