This is a thick and filling smoothie – perfect if you’re on the move after exercise. If you have a blender that won’t cut through ice, add a few chunks to chill the drink and stir/shake to cool it quickly before serving. The smoothie tastes almost chocolatey, so even if you don’t like coffee, we think you’ll enjoy it.
Almonds are the nutritional stars here. Brimming with fibre and protein (they contain a high proportion of both compared to other nuts), they’re also packed with healthy fats that help keep you feeling full all morning.
