Hoxton Bakehouse and how it all began

From co-workers to partners to business partners – Florence Hellier and Darren Bland of Hoxton Bakehouse took a risk that paid off. A broken oven lead to them making some of the best bread in the UK and in 2017 they bagged themselves a Produce Award.

In early 2018 we made the trip, to Southhampton, to see where the magic happens. Take a long look at the behind-the-scenes action at the Hoxton Bakehouse… You can almost smell the freshly baked bread in these photos by David Charbitt.

An inspirational slogan, found taped to the wall in the very small and very busy office.
