Mixed spice French toast

A French toast recipe that’s actually healthy? Yes, this warming breakfast is both delicious and nutritious plus it’s also low in fat.

Ingredients
- 1 egg
- Pinch ground mixed spice
- Spray oil
- 2 slices wholemeal bread
- 80g frozen mixed berries
Method
- Whisk the egg with the mixed spice. Spray a non-stick frying pan with oil and set over a medium-high heat. Dip the bread slices into the egg mix, then add to the pan and cook until golden on both sides.
- Meanwhile, warm the berries in a small pan. Put the French toast on a plate and pile the berries on top to serve
