Microwaved crunchy green vegetables

Try this easy microwaved crunchy green vegetables recipe as they keep their vivid colour and are easy to cook al dente.
Next time: make perfect microwaved jacket sweet potatoes.
- Serves 4
- 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 100g asparagus
- 100g broccoli
- 100g extra fine beans
- 100g sugar snaps
- 3 tbsp water
- 25g butter
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
Method
- Put extra fine beans, sugar snaps, asparagus and broccoli, cut into small florets, into a dish with water.
- Cover with cling film and pierce several times. Cook on high (900W) for 6 minutes, then leave to stand.
- Put butter and sesame seeds into a dish, cover as before and microwave on high (900W) for 2 minutes or until golden.
- Drain the vegetables. Drizzle with the sesame butter and sprinkle with sea salt to serve.
