A classic jerk seasoning has a few storecupboard stable spices, and makes a great all-purpose seasoning.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp garlic granules
  • 1 tbsp caster sugar
  • 4 tsp dried thyme leaves
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp ground allspice
  •  ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  •  ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
