Ginger hot toddy

Ginger is not only warming and peppery – in this hot toddy recipe – but it’s also deeply soothing. We use ginger wine in our hot cocktail for the ultimate winter warmer.

- Serves 1
- Ready in 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 40ml Stone’s Original Green Ginger Wine
- 15ml premium brandy
- Dash of double cream
- Freshly grated nutmeg
Method
- Put the ginger wine and brandy into a small pan. Add a drop or two of the cream and stir well. Warm through gently – don’t bring to simmering point (see tips).
- Remove from the heat, allow to cool for 1 minute, then pour into a glass. Grate some nutmeg over the top.

Be careful not to heat the pan too much or the cream will curdle.
