Five-minute barbecue sauce

This barbecue sauce is delicious with all meat and vegetables – and it couldn’t be easier (or quicker) to make.
Ingredients
- 350g ketchup
- 1 bay leaf
- 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- dash of Tabasco
- the juice of 1 lemon
Method
- In a pan, mix 350g ketchup, 1 bay leaf, 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard, 1/2 tsp smoked paprika, dash of Tabasco, the juice of 1 lemon.
- Heat until bubbling and simmer for 2 minutes. Season. Serve as a sauce or cool and use as a marinade for ribs and chicken.
