Cinnamon toffee apple wedges

This cinnamon toffee apple recipe is quick and easy – you could make them for a Halloween or Bonfire Night party, or for a sweet autumnal afternoon treat. For double-luxury, serve with giant chocolate cookies.
- Serves 4
- Ready in 15 minutes
Ingredients
- 100g butter
- 100g golden caster sugar
- 6 apples, cored and cut into wedges
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- Handful pecans, toasted and chopped
Method
- Heat the butter and sugar in a pan set over the fire or a medium heat. As it begins to bubble and turn golden brown, add the apples and cinnamon and cook for 5 minutes, turning to coat the apples in the toffee mix.
