We’ve put a healthy spin on a banana split by swapping ice cream for frozen yoghurt, chocolate sauce for grated dark chocolate and dousing it all with almond butter. Just as heavenly but a little bit better for you.
You might also love our cheat’s banana cheesecake ice cream with peanut butter (swap the peanut butter for almond if preferred).
Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 scoop low-fat chocolate frozen yogurt (we used Waitrose Love Life)
- 2 tsp almond butter
- Handful of low-sugar granola
- A grating of 80% dark chocolate
Method
- Halve the banana lengthways, then cut in half widthways. Divide between 2 bowls and add a scoop of low-fat chocolate frozen yogurt to each bowl. Drizzle over the almond butter, scatter over a handful of low-sugar granola and top with a grating of dark chocolate.
