How we test

Our panel are taste experts. We conduct our tests without packaging, so our tasters don’t know who produced each product or how much it costs. And to prevent one taster influencing another, the panel aren’t allowed to confer during the tests, so the results here are unbiased.
What we looked for
Dark chocolate: bitter-sweet chocolate with an enticing aroma and a smooth texture. The eggs had to look good, too.
Milk chocolate: creamy, velvety chocolate with a good cocoa aroma and flavour, as well as an attractive design.
Something different: eggs that have a novelty factor but don’t compromise on taste, texture, aroma or appearance.
