What is gnocchi?
Think gnocchi are pasta? Gnocchi are actually small Italian dumplings made from potatoes and flour. And if you’re wondering how to pronounce gnocchi, it’s ‘knocky’.
To cook, simply boil in water for two or three minutes – gnocchi are done when they rise to the surface.
Some Italian regions cook them in water before frying them on a griddle in butter.
