Fancy a mojito… on a stick?

Keep cool this summer with these new boozy lollies

Fancy a mojito… on a stick?

Did you know ice lollies can give you a near-religious experience? That’s according to frozen food company Cook, who are now selling artisan lollies (yes, artisan) created by Cesar Roden and his aunt Nadia. The Mojito Lolly (above left) is exactly as it sounds: a frozen cocktail on a stick. £1.75 each from

cookfood.net

and Cook stores

Cesar and Nadia sell a broader variety of lollies at the Real Food Market on London’s South Bank (The Earl Grey, above right, is sensational), and their recipes have been gathered in a book,

Ice Kitchen: 50 Lolly Recipes

(£12.99; Quadrille), out 3 July.

Walls has jumped on the posh-lolly bandwagon, too, launching the Solero Mojito. It has rum in it, but not much (just 0.3% alcohol – not quite an alcopop on a stick). £2.49 for a pack of three; widely available
