Cheat’s tomato, ham and cheese turnover

This tomato, ham and cheese turnover recipe is a quick and easy recipe to make for the whole family – everyone is bound to love it. Perfect with salad for a light lunch.
Alternatively, why not trythis super gooey ham and brie stuffed parcel.

Ingredients
- 1 packet of ready-rolled pastry
- 4-6 slices ham
- 2 tbsp of fresh pesto
- 80g roughly cut up Boursin cheese
- 2 sliced tomatoes
- 1 egg
Method
- Open out the pastry on a lightly floured surface. Overlap the ham on one half, then spread with the fresh pesto. Arrange the Boursin cheese and tomatoes on top. Brush the pastry edge with beaten egg, fold over the other half of pastry and seal well. Crimp the edges and make slashes across the top of the pastry.
- Brush with more egg and bake at 200°C/fan180°C/gas 6 for 20-25 minutes, until risen and golden.
