10 easy bread recipes for when you don’t have time to make bread
Making bread can be more than a little arduous. There’s the kneading, the proving, the waiting…and sometimes we just don’t have time for that!
So swap sourdough for soda and focaccia for flatbreads and check out these 10 easy bread recipes that all take an hour or less to make (mostly less).
1.Garlic, anchovy and olive flatbreads
These flatbreads take well under an hour to make – including the resting time! Top with the anchovy, olive and garlic oil and serve as a tasty nibble or starter.

Take your corn bread up a notch with a crispy cornmeal-covered spring onion topping. Packed with cheddar, buttermilk and butter and served with chipotle mayonnaise, this moreish loaf makes a mighty meal in itself.
9. Beetroot and feta soda bread
This summery beetroot and feta loaf would make a fine addition to a picnic or alfresco lunch.
