How to use up leftover amaretto liqueur

• Amaretto sour
  Mix amaretto with lemon juice and sugar to taste, and serve over ice in a tumbler with a twist of lemon. Coat the rim of the glass in sugar if you like it sweeter.
• Brownies with amaretto cherries
  Put drained maraschino cherries from a jar into a bowl and pour in 2-3 tbsp amaretto. Leave to soak for 15-20 minutes. Prepare a brownie mixture (find a brownie recipe at deliciousmagazine.co.uk) and, in the final step before baking, drain the cherries, then stir them into the brownie mix.
