Celebrate St Patrick’s Day – the patron saint of Ireland – every year on March 17th, with this craic-ing whiskey cocktail recipe, called a ‘Lion’s tail’.

It’s an easy to make, bung it all in, shake and serve kind of recipe.
Beware: it’s potent.
Lion’s Tail
Ingredients
- 25ml Irish whiskey
- 20ml Calvados
- 20ml fresh lemon juice
- 10ml sugar syrup
- 10ml passion fruit syrup (we used half a passion fruit scooped out and seeds/pulp strained)
- 2 dashes orange blossom water (be careful with this as it’s a very strong flavour)
Method
1. Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Shake and strain over ice cubes.
