A St Paddy’s Day whiskey cocktail

The recipe comes from the guys behind The Umbrella Project who run drinking dens, Discount Suit Company and The Sun Tavern, both in London.

It’s an easy to make, bung it all in, shake and serve kind of recipe.

Beware: it’s potent.

Lion’s Tail

Ingredients

  • 25ml Irish whiskey
  • 20ml Calvados
  • 20ml fresh lemon juice
  • 10ml sugar syrup
  • 10ml passion fruit syrup (we used half a passion fruit scooped out and seeds/pulp strained)
  • 2 dashes orange blossom water (be careful with this as it’s a very strong flavour)

Method

1. Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Shake and strain over ice cubes.
