It’s really easy to make professional looking chocolate curls at home. Watch our video, or, here are the steps written out for you:
- Pour your melted chocolate onto a non-stick surface, such as a baking sheet, or chopping board, to form a layer about 5mm thick
- Put in the fridge to chill for 30 minutes. After this time, the chocolate should be firm, but not rock hard
- Use a cheese slice to pull across the chocolate, pressing down a little. The chocolate should form curls as the slice comes towards you. If the curls break or seem too hard, leave the chocolate at room temperature for five minutes to soften, then try again
How do you store chocolate curls?
Store them in an airtight container, or, they’ll keep in the freezer for up to three months.
